The Opportunity
We are looking for an Automation Test Engineer who is an experienced Automation Tester with rich experience leveraging Selenium, and LoadRunner/JMeter/Maven to develop and maintain automated test scripts and facilitate quality assurance for web applications. Restructured and improved the test automation framework, resulting in a 20% reduction in a time spent conducting test, and consolidated automated tests, reducing time spent on manual tests by 60%. Regularly communicated with developers, executed tests, developed test plans and standardizing test cases to ensure product quality and timely response product delivery.
Ability to understand business requirements, the context of the program/ code, a deep understanding of SDLC and STLC, good insights in web/ mobile open-source technologies and familiarity with various testing methodologies and processes would be key to success in this role. Key Responsibilities: Your Mission, Your Impact
- Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.
- To be able to perform functional and automated testing for complex applications.
- In depth knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle)
- Proven experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Experience in working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.
- Track & analyse multiple quality assurance metrics, like defect densities, etc. Improvement is important here.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, typescript ,C#, or similar.
- Proficiency in test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
- Experienced in working with SQL and NoSQL databases such as: My SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Casandra, Neo4Js, Redis, etc. is an added advantage.
- Experience with version control/ Git is required.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and collaboration with DevOps teams is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
We are searching for someone with
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in automation testing.
- Hands-on experience in automating tests for web applications using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with mobile test automation tools like Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest (Good to Have).
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Experience in creating Automation framework for both API and UI.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience in – Performance Testing using JMeter/LoadRunner (Good to Have).
